Jeffrey also known as Chef Jeff is a Cuban/Guatemalan American who has deep roots in Miami since moving here at 11 years old. His passion for food began at a young age spending a lot of his childhood in Peten, Guatemala where his family lives in a farming town. At 14 he began his first job as a prep cook at his father’s seafood restaurant in Miami. In 2012 Jeffrey earned his culinary degree from Miami Culinary Institute in Downtown, Miami. He has worked in many well-known restaurants and hotels including Michelin-starred Ariete in Coconut Grove, the now closed Nave, the W Hotel and Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove and privately for City Chef Catering. Chef Jeff prides himself in using the best ingredients possible to make his creations from scratch. He delights in bringing those Central American and Caribbean flavors to his food. He cultivates long standing relationships with his clients ensuring every event becomes a memorable experience. The smiling faces of satisfied clients brings great satisfaction to Chef Jeff.
